Reporting abuse

Report abuse to abuse@litiqo.com. Include what happened, when, and anything that helps us identify the account or message concerned. Reports are read by people.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. We are a software company and cannot act as one.

What counts as abuse

unsolicited bulk messaging, in breach of our anti-spam policy
using our services to store or distribute unlawful content
phishing, fraud, impersonation or misrepresenting a relationship with Litiqo
unauthorised access attempts, scanning or interference with the service
harassment, threats or abuse directed at our staff, our community members or other users
sharing another person's private data without a lawful basis
deliberately circumventing usage limits or security controls

Community conduct

The user community has a short set of rules and they are enforced. Criticism of the software is welcome. Abuse of people is not, and it results in removal.

How we respond

Depending on severity we may:

contact the account holder and ask for the behaviour to stop
suspend a specific capability, such as outbound messaging
suspend or terminate the account
preserve records and cooperate with a lawful request from authorities

Where we take action against an account, we tell the account holder what action was taken and why, unless a legal obligation prevents it.

Abuse of our staff

Our people are expected to be professional and they are entitled to be treated the same way. Threats or abuse directed at staff end the conversation and may end the relationship.

Bad-faith reports

Reports made to harass a competitor or an individual are themselves abuse, and are treated as such.
